Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the effective management of project and in meeting project profit, safety, programme, environmental and quality objectives;
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in leading the Section team in coordinating preconstruction and construction activities;
- Review project contract documents and claim submissions; review of Method Statements, safe work procedures;
- Preparation of short term programmes;
- Participate in the preparation of subcontract tenders for construction activities within responsible area;
- Weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors, review of resources and planning of works;
- Regular Review of temporary works with the engineering team;
- Ensure all company policies and plans are aligned to the broader group processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil / Building Engineering or equivalent;
- Member of HKIE / ICE or other recognized professional bodies highly preferred;
- 15 years' relevant experience in building works with residential experience, with at least 3 years’ experience working in the capacity of Project Manager on major building construction projects;
- Able to work independently, mature with good problem-solving skills;
- Proficient in English with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
